Elora Hoop Leverback Earrings

Got these for Christmas from my husband, I was so disappointed when I tried to put them on. I opened the latch and the metal quickly bend, the metal is so soft. I am having him return them so I can get a different pair of earrings. I won't be trying to get another one of these in hopes it was just a fluke, now that I've seen some of the other reviews, it seems to be how they are. what a shame- these shouldn't be for sale, very bad quality! I shouldn't fear my earring is about to break every time I go to put them on. Nope!!

I have purchased these earrings twice now. I thought the post and prong breaking off was a fluke so I bought another pair. It seems that these earrings have bad workmanship and design and should be removed from the store. I now have 2 pairs that are broken and Brighton will only warranty for one year. All their other jewelry is great but seeing they won't stand behind their product doesn't give me a good impression of them all together. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years and never had an issue. Now I have to pay for shipping to have the one pair repaired since it falls within a year of purchase and they will charge me to fix the previous pair purchased outside the one year. not happy at all. These earrings are not cheap and you would expect a good product, not the case. I would not recommend purchasing the Elora earrings, they will break on you within no time.
