    Heavier than expected.

    Love these Wentletrap Earrings!

    Like your designer, I vacationed on Sanibel Island with my family for many summers. We loved shelling. One year my goal was to find wentletraps, which I considered to be a beautiful shell that I had never found. A kind shell shop owner explained that the wentletraps in the stores were from other parts of the world. The ones that came in on Sanibel were tiny, and you had to get your nose down in the seaweed that had washed up on the beach to find them. When we tried that, my dad, my sister, and I found 78 tiny, perfect wentletraps! These earrings bring back a wonderful memory for me. They are beautiful! Leverbacks are so comfortable to wear!
