Never imagining she’d be taking the 19-hour flight to Australia, Brighton designer Catherine Hong was thrilled at Jerry Kohl’s offer to send her there to partake in a painting workshop with British artist Flora Waycott. “Jerry knows how to bring out the adventurer in me,” Catherine says.

Combined with her love of art and flowers, traveling to this faraway land to see and experience its multitude of natural wonders up close, along with participating in a workshop with an artist she’s long admired, well, it was a rare opportunity she couldn’t pass up!
